In 1959, Mother Patience A. Fulton, founded Faith Temple as a mission in Jericho New Jersey.  In 1960, her son Rev. Samuel P. Fulton was sent by the late Bishop Bruce M. Oakley, to Pastor the mission. On February 3, 1961 the church was incorporated in the state of New Jersey with 13 members.  Since most of the membership was from Philadelphia, they decided to relocate back in Philadelphia. In May 1962, we moved from Jericho, New Jersey to 17th and Master Street, in the Lottie Miller Church, on the second floor.  There the Lord blessed the membership to grow, and on January 1963, we moved to 2948 Germantown Ave.  The Lord really blessed our membership to grow, and in 1967, we purchased the Aitz Chaim Nusach SfArd Synagogue located at 3213 W. Cumberland St. On the third Sunday in June 1968, we marched into our new edifice, at 3213 W. Cumberland St, singing and praising the Lord.
